| On Tuesday, 13th September 2005, HRH The Prince of Wales, as President of the Victoria Cross & George Cross Association, was present at the Service of Remembrance and Re-Dedication for the Association at the church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square. Colonel B.S.T. Archer GC, chairman of the VC & GC Association, read the lesson, and Mr. J.W. Beaton GC, honorary secretary and chairman of the trustees, said the Act of Remembrance. On Thursday, 15th September 2005, a Reunion Dinner for VC and GC holders was held at The Royal Hospital, Chelsea, at which H.R.H. The Princess Royal was the guest of Honour, accompanied by Rear Admiral Timothy Laurence. |
